Lluis was a managing partner at Team8 (www.team8.vc), a platform for creating cybersecurity and fintech companies, as well as an investment firm with offices in Tel-Aviv and New York. At Team8, they focused on data-driven B2B software companies in cybersecurity, big data, fintech, and enterprise IT. Team8 has created and invested in numerous companies, including Illusive Networks (acquired by Proofpoint in 2022) (www.illusivenetworks.com), Claroty (www.claroty.com), Sygnia (acquired by Temasek in 2018) (www.sygnia.co), Hysolate (acquired by Perception Point in 2022) (www.hysolate.com), PortShift (acquired by Cisco Systems in 2020) (www.portshift.io), Curv (acquired by Paypal in 2021) (www.curv.co), Duality Technologies (www.dualitytech.com), Noogata (www.noogata.com), Visible Risk (acquired by BitSight Technologies in 2021) (www.visiblerisk.com), Harmonya, and Ox.Security, among others.

Lluis is also a frequent guest lecturer at Cornell Tech, Columbia Business School, and Georgetown Law. Between September 2015 and May 2019, he was co-chair of the New York City Venture Connection (www.nycvc.org).

Prior to his time at Team8, he was a partner and founding team member at Marker, a US-Israeli venture capital firm with over $400 million under management. At Marker, he built the investment team and led or co-led early and growth-stage investments in over 40 companies, including Yext (IPO 2017), Taboola (IPO 2021), Tufin (IPO 2019), Team8, Samanage (acquired by SolarWinds in 2019), Datorama (acquired by Salesforce.com in 2018), Keywee, Yotpo, and Illusive Networks.
