Pablo Romero is the co-founding partner of Carbono Solutions and a member of Tritemius' investment committee. He is a chartered economist specializing in banking and financial advisory.

With over a decade of experience in blockchain technology, Pablo has a blended background in both entrepreneurial and corporate environments. He also lectures at universities such as CUNEF and Deusto. He holds crypto-asset forensic investigation certifications, including the CRC from Chainalysis and the CCRS from Cyphertrace. His articles have been featured in prominent publications like Cointelegraph, and he occasionally contributes to business journals such as CincoDías.

In his entrepreneurial career, he has a proven track record in designing and executing innovative projects. In 2014, he launched Spain's first custodial crypto exchange, earning him the Yuzz León award from Banco Santander. Later, in 2017, he won the Telefónica award at Wayra's first Blockchain Hackathon for developing a document control and traceability solution on public blockchains.

During his time in the corporate sector, Pablo was part of the Blockchain & Digital Assets team at BBVA. There, he led projects in the New Business Models & Strategy unit, including the development of the first crypto-asset trading and custody service offered by a Eurozone bank, which has been available at BBVA Switzerland since 2021.
